Best Text-to-Speech Software for Personal Use?

Hello guz…

I’m looking for recommendations on the best text-to-speech (TTS) software for personal use. I want something reliable and user-friendly. My primary needs are:

  • High-Quality Voices: Natural-sounding voices are a must.
  • Multi-Language Support: I occasionally need to convert text in different languages.
  • Customizable Settings: Options to adjust speed, pitch, and volume would be great.
  • Compatibility: Should work on both Windows and Android devices.
  • Affordability: I’m willing to pay for a good product, but nothing too pricey.

I’ve heard about tools like NaturalReader, Balabolka, and Google’s TTS, but I’m not sure which one would suit me best. If anyone has experience with these or any other TTS software …your thoughts and recommendations.

The best text to speech software is the Windows 11 Speech Recognition, it is built in option for basic text-to-speech conversion, good for short tasks.

I will recommend Google text-to-speech because:

  • It provides natural-sounding voices
  • Supports many languages
  • Limited customization options compared to others
  • Built into Android devices and can be used on Windows via web browsers
  • It is absolutely free

While not exclusively a text-to-speech tool, Apple Voice Control, available on Apple devices, provides accurate and efficient dictation capabilities. It’s great for hands-free control and accessibility.

Murf is regarded as the greatest text-to-speech tool for websites due to its extensive library of natural-sounding voices, compatibility for different languages, and ability to turn text into audio flawlessly.
